What is an air conditioning unit?

An indoor air conditioning unit, also known as an AC unit or air conditioner, is a device that cools and dehumidifies the air inside a room or building. It works by drawing warm air from the room into the unit, passing it over a cooling coil that removes heat and moisture from the air, and then recirculating the cool, dry air back into the room.

Not only is it a great cooling solution that dehumidifies the air, some indoor air conditioning units also have air filters to remove pollutants and allergens from the air, and some have heating capabilities to provide warmth in cooler months.
